Course Description: Anthropology/Archeology is
social science that studies past cultures and systematically studies
the material remains, human behavior, social life, and culture in
all places on the earth at all times from the prehistoric through
the historic.
Course Objective: Students in this course will
be taught to think critically and imaginatively in regard to the
topics discussed and researched.
Course Requirements: The following course activities
and projects required for successful completion of the course. Included,
class assignments, class participation, research paper, homework,
current events, midterm, final examination , completion of all physical
projects.
Criteria for Assessing Student Performance:
Class participation/notebook 15% active involvement in class discussions
Homework 15% outside class reinforcements Projects 30% research
related papers
Tests 25% unit and chapter tests
Quizzes 15% section quizzes
