Our Evening and Continuing Education programs offer
two, ten week semesters of classes, Fall and Winter/Spring. The Fall
classes start in September and the Winter/Spring classes start in January.
The Cape May County Technical School District is committed to serving
community interests by offering courses in the following vocational,
avocational & technical areas: Arts & Crafts, Dance, Writing, Computer
Operation, Cooking, Baking, Foreign Language, Health & Fitness,
Office/Career Related, Special Training, State License, General Interest
and Technical Programs for Jobs/Business.
Evening/Continuing Education Division Office is located in the Tozour

Although high school students are given first priority, these programs are open to post secondary adults provided
seating is available. Pre-requisites include: 18 years of age or older, high school diploma/equivalent and pre-admission testing.
Programs are full time and in session from September to June.

Our Adult Evening High School program offers New Jersey residents, 17 years of age or older the opportunity to complete their high school
requirements on a competency-based program schedule, while maintaining the high standards inherent in the awarding of a high school diploma.
The program is in session from September to May, on a two semester
format (September to January and January to May), and is available
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Students
can be scheduled one or two nights a weeks as requested. Students
must enroll by October 15th, for the first semester and between January
1st and February 15th, for the second semester.
An enrollment application from individuals 17 years of age must be
accompanied by a Certificate of Consent to Participate signed by a
parent or legal guardian.
As part of the enrollment process, all prospective applicants are pre-tested prior to admission into the Adult High School program regardless of credit
status. The pre-test is the TABE (Test of Adult basic Education). The pre-test is not pass or fail, it is an assessment testing for program placement purposes.
Please note that individuals who passed one or more sections of the HSPT 11 (High School Proficiency Test) or HSPA (High School Proficiency Assessment)
may be waived from taking the pre-test at the discretion of the admission committee.
