This
program consists of a rotation through three exploratory shops and
specialized training in: computer skills, job skills, life skills,
study skills and thinking skills. Each shop class provides multi-media
experiences relating to the career choices listed in the course
outline. These learning experiences allow every student to sample
each course offered in the 10th, 11th and 12th grade occupational
programs and investigate related career options. The exploratory
classes will enable students to make an informed specialization
program choice for their next school year.
Students will sample the following areas in Exploratory B: Automotive
Mechanics, Carpentry, Graphic Design Technology, Heating/Cooling/Plumbing/Electrical,
Law Enforcement & Public Safety, and Golf Course & Landscape
Design. They will explore non-traditional careers, and participate
in the integration of academics, vocational, evaluation, technology
and social skills required of careers explored.
