The Cape May Tech Girls Club is a community of girls 11 to 17 who want to make a difference in their lives and in the world and have fun while they do it. It has all of the things girls love to do, from traveling to exotic locations, roughing it in the backyard to just hanging out with the girls. Find out how to develop new leadership skills, improve the community or create your own group.

FUN, EXCITING AND CHALLENGING RECREATIONAL AND EDUCATION ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

Career Exploration - Programs such as "Girls in the Law" offer an insight into the legal process
Introduction to the Arts - "Folk Art" brings history to life and the theater programs provide a unique look at backstage operations
Involvement in Sports and Fitness - "GirlSports" incompasses not only the Girls Golf Club and Soccer Series, but many other opportuniities as well
Acquisition of Life Skills and Values - "Inside Out" and "Don't Laugh at Me" help girls address bullying situations and program aide training strengthens individual's leadership skills.
Acceptance of Diversity - Girls experience life with various handicaps through "Include Me Too!".
Outdoor Education and Conservation - "Eco-Exploration" and "It's a Bugs Life" combine life cycles, recycling, Earth Day and more.
Introduction to Community Service - Troops collect new baby items, package them in attractive bundles and deliver them to various local special service agencies as "Baby Bundles".
Prevention and Outreach Services - Through "Girl Scouts in the School Day" many girls, most from low-income families, are able to participate in Girl Scouts.
Wider Oppurtunities - Girls travel around the country experiencing different activities, such as dog sledding, scuba diving, singing and more. International friendships are also established through our "Celebration" program.

Meeting: Mondays after school from 3:30 to 5:00pm Room 106 (Girls from the Technical High School meet beginning at 2:30pm and can take one of the late buses home.
