This course teaches entry level skills in Small Engine/Marine Technology including equipment , careers , tools , two and four cycle operation , troubleshooting , engine disassembly and rebuilding , performing mathematical calculations related to small engines, outboard engine servicing and repair, oxy-acetylene and arc welding.

Graduates are prepared for entry level jobs, take advanced schooling through their work or go to trade schools like Pennco Tech or Marine Mechanics Institute for advanced training.

Students in this class work enjoy working with their hands on go carts, mini bikes and dirt bikes and like boating, fishing and being around the water in boats.
